Sylvain Perez is the CEO of Q-Leap, the leading software testing company in Luxembourg and the organizer of the Luxembourg Software Testing Event. In addition to his role as CEO, Sylvain leads the innovation department at Q-Leap.
He is the Product Owner for Q-Guard & Q-Bot, two tools developed by the company. Q-Guard automates the creation and management of test cases based on user experience, while Q-Bot handles two-factor authentication for secured systems.
With over 18 years of experience in the IT industry, particularly in solution architecture, Sylvain took on the role of CEO at Q-Leap in January 2016. He is a strong advocate for Test-Driven Development (TDD), focusing on maintaining high standards in software development. Sylvain also co-founded Hippocrate, the company behind Sigmund, an application designed to simplify administrative management for psychologists and psychotherapists in Luxembourg. His passion for development and innovation drives him to find effective solutions and continuously develop new ideas. Always approachable and dedicated, he actively engages with the community by teaching programming to children aged 8 to 12 through Code Club Luxembourg, where his enthusiasm and leadership inspire the next generation of developers.
