Silvia is a theoretical physicist by training, with a passion for applying mathematics to solve complex systems. Silvia moved from Italy to Luxembourg in 2018 to pursue a PhD in biomedicine at LCSB, which she completed in 2021. During her studies, she worked on noisy high-throughput biological data and performed stochastic simulations to model cell behaviours. Afterwards, she moved to LNDS where she is the owner of the SDF (Synthetic Data Factory) service to foster statistical open data by creating valuable synthetic datasets representative of the Luxembourg population's demographics and socioeconomics, among other uses.
